This is the view from the end of FS road 2401 in the Jefferson Creek area. The area of Jefferson Creek and Lakes is beautiful; such a shame that it has been logged. I'm sure at some point it was deemed to be "not of national park caliber." Granted, to attain this view of Mount Washington would be far more arduous if the valley had been left intact, but I for one would be elated to make such a sacrifice. 11/21/07
