Hasn't voted | Yes, ships beware! If you're referring to the one that just sank, I don't need to tell you that it was the same ship I went on to Antarctica! Phew, dodged that bullet! | | Posted Nov 29, 2007 5:46 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Yes, I was thinking of just that ship! Pretty amazing that, after 95 years of technical advances, a ship can still succumb to an iceberg. Oh well, glad you weren't on it that trip, but you may have forever lost the chance to be known as the "unsinkable icypeak". | | Posted Nov 29, 2007 11:48 pm |

Hasn't voted | The name of the ship was the Explorer. I say "was" because it just sank off the coast of Antarctica. Surprised I was not on it at the time :-) And yes, it hit an iceberg. | | Posted Nov 29, 2007 7:16 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Icypeak, I didn't believe you. Then, I checked
a newspaper from China; said the EXPLORER sank. I guess you were one of the first to get the news. That's a real tragedy.
Did you see a lot of BERGS out there? I'm just a guy living in Arizona, but I'm wondering if perhaps ... ... GLOBAL WARMING? Cheers!!!
Glad that somebody was watching after YOU. | | Posted Nov 30, 2007 10:05 pm |
