The view is looking east, 11.24.07. I am on the highest point in the summit area. The wind was so fierce today (that's why I have my hat off) I felt like it could knock me off at any moment. The drop below is pretty dramatic. Cornell Peak is east of San Jacinto Peak in in the San Jacinto Wilderness Area of southern California.
