The 2007 White House Christmas Tree was decorated with ornaments from all of the U.S. National Parks.
I had the honor of being asked to do the ornament for Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. This small painting was the study for the, even smaller, painting on the ornament.
The painting depicts Longs Peak & Neighbors from the Estes Valley on a moonlit night with the decorated foreground trees. I added the border for this posting ... Peace, Jim
