| The 19:30 flight from Mendoza... | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The 19:30 flight from Mendoza to Santiago provides for some interesting colours as you pass Aconcagua. The South face is in the shade but you can't have it all. The flights from Santiago to Mendoza fly too far south to get close enough to shoot. December15, 2003. William Marler. Nikon Cool Pics 5000.

Hasn't voted | Thanks Dave. Normally I don’t try as the window of the plane and or the wing messes up the shot. But this seemed to go well at the time and the results surprised me. I have several more of the west ridge. Which I will post later. But I don't want to overdo it. Cheers William | | Posted Dec 18, 2003 11:07 am |

Hasn't voted | I am looking north-north east. Tupungato would have been below the plane. I saw it on the way in and I have a shot with Tupungato, then Aconcagua the Ramada and Mercedario in the background. Cheers William | | Posted Dec 18, 2003 4:09 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Wow, I can't believe that you took it through plane window which are usually scratched or dirty. This one was crystal clear and result is fantastic aerial shot! I hope you had great trip (haha like it can be the other way) and welcome back! | | Posted Dec 19, 2003 5:50 am |
