Three tall Douglas-firs... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Three tall Douglas-firs...
Three tall Douglas-firs spared the logger's knife. The Goat Lake Trail goes right past them. The little guy in the left-foreground is a western red cedar, while the little deciduous guy on the right is a red alder. The tall tree farther back on the left is a more mature western red cedar. Pk 5987, which is 1.5 miles NNE of Cadet Peak, is in the distance. Sept. 6, 1994.
