This is a photo of Prominent Point from the West, looking across Pima Canyon. The Southwest Ridge route goes along the skyline from the right edge of the photo (actually it starts on the sunlit ramp below and parallel to the skyline for the first bit, past the "Thumb" on the near side, then continues up the ridge for about a mile to the Western Summit. Another possible line is to go up Pima Canyon, then about midway across the view shown on the photo, start up slopes heading towards the rocky peaks on the skyline to the left of the summit. Once in the vicinity of these, turn to the East, and work up the brushy slopes to the Western summit.
