This is the first falls at...
This is the first falls at 3,100 feet on the Cougar Creek Trail. There is no bridge. On the way up, I crossed on the jumble of slick logs shown at the base of the falls. On the return, I jumped across a gap where this photo was taken that was about as wide as that constriction shown. What you don't see is the other waterfall downstream of where I'm standing. If I had fallen in when jumping across the constriction, well let's just say I'd be the ghost of Sloan Peak's past. July 13, 1995.
