Photo taken from the left edge of the gulley. From here we would have had to downclimb to rejoin the main gully; instead we topped out via a mixed (mostly rock) route.

Hasn't voted | Sunday.
Odell's was in, as were Damnation (climbed by two parties) and Pinnacle Gully (somebody soloed it). Central was looking very thin. The Escape Hatch was judged to be a brushy mess; everybody walked off via Lion Head (summer route).
Since Monday morning the Whites have gotten two feet of snow, so conditions will be different now. | | Posted Dec 4, 2007 11:42 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the quick response. NEice is not a sight I've spent enough time on to know who the people there enough to trust their 'bragging' reports! So thanks again. | | Posted Dec 5, 2007 7:09 am |
