King Bolete
This is Boletus edulis
( in Polish:Borowik szlachetny)
- a wild mushroom that is particularily praised for its flavor and aroma.
These type of mushrooms are abundant in the forests of the Low Beskid.
They perform role of ritual food during Christmas Eve.

Thank you for your comment. We dry some of the King Bolete and other mushrooms that we pick in autumn and add dried ones to our Christmas meals. Henryk
