At 14,162-feet, Mt. Shasta is an imposing presence rising more than 10,000 feet above the surrounding plains. Here it is seen from about 50-miles away near Tule Lake, CA. The peak to the right is 12,330-foot Shastina. Imaged in July 07.

Shasta mountain page was pretty full already, and this contributed little to climbing the mountain. Your album perfectly suited the image, however.
