Yamdrok Yutso (so called "scorpion lake" due to its complicated shape)is definitely one of the most beautiful lakes in Tibet.

Unfortunately, since the road was paved two years ago, it is now crowded with herds of tourists and souvenir sellers during the warm season. But in winter Yamdrok Yutso regains its peace and loneliness. The best time to visit it!
