You're welcome.
Yes, there are many peaks with beautiful shapes in this range, most of them overpassing the 6'000m height.

I don't think so. It must be a lower summit, that you can see from the main road Gyantse - Nagartse (just at the turn off for Noijin Kangsang BC)

Edit 2008:
After checking again, I noticed that this face does not constitute a real summit, as the ridge is continuing further up until Kaluxung South Summit (6536m).

All over China there are great climbing oportunities. Red tape can however be a bit problematic, especially here in Tibet.

I'd actually planned to visit this autumn. Alas knee injuries! First glance at your username and I thought you might have been the person I was supposed to be going with. I'll no doubt have other opportunities to do some climbing there at some point.

You must have digitally enhanced the photo ha ha, what an amazing shaped mountain, the sort children draw, and adults tell them they don't exist!

No no John, the picture was not modified by any artificial mean.

You'll find this nice face on the road from Nagartse to Gyantse in Tibet, a few km before Karo La.

Do you know of any names or if any one has ever summited it before?
Great picture!

See my comment above. This face is not an independent peak, but is part of the Kaluxung massif. The face shown in the picture is for sure unclimbed, bu Kaluxung main summit was first summitted in 2005.

The whole area around Karo La, where Noijing Kangsang and Kaluxung are located, is one of my favourite... The views on Yamdrok Tso and distant peaks at the Bhutan border are stunning!
