Close by the highway near Trinchera Peak is the closed Cuchara Ski Resort. I took this at 35,000 ft. on a flight from Dallas to Portland.

Hasn't voted | I've always wanted to get a shot like this, too bad the clouds had the mountains partially obscured. Good view of the ski resort. Did you happen to get a shot of the Spanish Peaks too?

Hasn't voted | No Spanish peaks. I think they may have been right under the plane. I got a shot looking down towards Northern New Mexico and one more shot looking towards the San Juans. I wish I had a better camera at the time. I used a Kodak DC40 ancient camera, but for this shot it wasn't too bad.
