Our party set up camp on the...
Our party set up camp on the Easton Glacier and soon we found ourselves terrorized by the rare caninus pestus. This oversized rodent has been known to range high up on alpine firn slopes in pursuit of tasty morsels. June 24, 2000.

Johan HeersinkAnother of those bastards!

Hasn't voted

Caninus Pestus might be rare, but it's distribution seems to be world wide: Two years ago we were overcome by one in the Altun Shan in China. Looked the same, begged the same, and there was no possible way to get rid of it, still lives with one of our drivers, (that is he hasn't killed and eaten it by now)!
