Re: So

There is quite a story to this one. Bo and I write for the Today in Dixie Magazine and we were writing up the wave. Well after we did it we found out about dino tracks so we headed down that next weekend. The deadline to have the article was close, but then we heard about this arch. The biggest problem was a snow storm was about to hit and it's a slickrock scramble to the mountain top where you find this arch - above the wave. We were rushing to miss the big snow fall that was on its way. We made it off the mountain just in time because then it hit hard! There is a photo in the album from that day. There must have been a foot of snow on our heads as we got back to the trailhead. It was a blast!

I love your photos

You do nice work with the camera. That area is so interesting. A couple of friends and I are going to hike Buckskin Gulch loop in about a month. I hope to have some photos half as nice when I return.

Re: I love your photos

Buckskin is an outstanding hike for photography. There is so much to take pictures of there it is sort of overwhelming.

Thanks for the compliment...

What else can I say ??

Melody Arch and Mollies Nipple are great names
for geologic formations. I think my friend has
a photo of a natural window in the North
Coyote Buttes area. I need to get an ID on it.

Dinosaur tracks are fascinating! Have you ever watched the program on The Discovery
Channel, where the 'computer-generated'
figures of dinosaurs are fighting each other?

Geez, Tanya! Will you please lay off on that
jello and Green tea. Take care of yourself!!

Larry (still) in AZ :))

Re: What else can I say ??

I am lost? Jellow and Green Tea? I did see that program or a bit of it at least a while ago. It was sort of scary!

Re: What else can I say ??

Nope, I'm the one who's LOST! I need to have
some GPS-training, so I can keep up with the
rest of the folks. Melody Arch, The Wave and
Mollies Nipple are still on my LIST.

Have a great week, tanya!!

Re: What else can I say ??

Melody Arch is the coolest arch I have seen in all my years of hiking! We climbed up to see it in a snow storm too! We had a blast! :)
