Olperer from east [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Olperer from east
seen from ski resort Gefrorene Wand, 3250m, above Hintertuxer Ferner (glacier).
The symmetric east face is framed by the south ridge (with the famous snow field "Schneegupf" well visible) to the left and the north ridge to the right. The north ridge rises from Wildlahnerscharte (gap), to the right of which one sees the 2 small summits of Falscher Kaserer (in shadow) and Großer Kaserer (sunlit).
Taken 29-12-2007.
