Mushrooms Beneath the Leaves [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mushrooms Beneath the Leaves
Mushrooms and other fungi are one of the most diverse forms of life on Earth. This picture was taken in August 2006 at the Olympic Peninsula. These mushrooms were a very beautiful and striking group, and I found them more impressive than the hundreds upon hundreds of other fungi growing there. It was early morning, so the dew was still present.

Thanks for the ID! I've always wondered what those were.
