Voted 10/10 | always look so tall and majestic from
the highway, and you have to be in
outstanding physical condition to hike
into them from this side of the Range.

Voted 10/10 | are "storm-catchers." They capture most,
if not all, of the storms that blow in
from the Pacific Ocean. It was the Sierra
Nevada Mountains that "created" the Great
Basin Desert, and perhaps even the northern
