Side hilling to Tanaina Lake [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Side hilling to Tanaina Lake
Side hilling doesn't bother me very much. Especially when you would lose all of your elevation if you didn't. It was pretty decent footing. There were some pretty soft rock slide chutes that you come across, but most of it is good for side hilling.

"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."   --Helen Keller
