Hasn't voted | Thank you very much for looking at my photo. The peak was first climbed in the year 1958 by Mr. Walter Bonatti and Carlo Mauri by the North East Ridge. In 1985 first attemept of the West face was made by the Robert Schauer and Wojciech Kurtyka, but due to bad weather forced them to reach the north summit missing the west face. In 1986 the first ascent of the North West Ridge by Greg Child, Tim Macartney Snape and Tom Hargis. In 1997, Second ascent of the West face by a Korean Team, suing a different route.
