This was another day on Helvellyn to remember, damp in the valley, but great conditions on the hill. This is just before the ridge proper. Unfortunately the day didnt turn out so good for everyone. A walker fell to his death as we decended. Not a nice thing to encounter. But it goes to show you must be fully prepared and take care, even on English mountains!
