King Antelao

I've seen Antelao many, many times and I can say that the view of it from Pian dei Buoi ( Marmarole ) is one of the best. The mountain appears as an enormous pyramid, absolutely fantastic!

	Hasn't voted	Thank you, you're absolutely right. Antelao is really a King and in winter looks more an hymalayan peak than a dolomitic mountain. From this point of view it looks huge, it is so near... But the view from this plateau is fantastic in all directions, one of the best I've ever seen. Ciao!

	Hasn't voted	Thank you! It's really a wonderful place for snowshoeing, with fantastic views all around. Cacti? I love them, I've got a big collection of many species of succulent plants. But this site is about hiking and mountaineering, so I don't vote for what I think is OT. Beautiful day in eastern Italy too, Ciao!
