Willow Gentian [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Willow Gentian
Willow Gentian ( Gentiana asclepiadea) is a popular plant in the Carpathian Mountains. It can reach even 1 meter in height. In The Low Beskid willow gentian is a protected species. It grows above the forest zone just below the summits. The plant is poisonous and has a bitter taste, which is a deterrent for wildlife.
