Have you heard a news report coming out
of 'KIRO' news how some idiot rode a
snowmobile all the way up to Mt. St.
Helens' summit rim, and then accidently
fell off the rim into the crater???

That wasn't you, was it ??? ??? ??? :))
Hang in there, Bob. - Larry of AZ

Yeah, I heard the story on the radio today. The guy actually went down about 1000 feet, and survived. They didn't use the word "cornice" in the story -- most folks wouldn't know the meaning -- but they said he fell off a snow overhang or something like that. With a snowmobile I guess so!

Actually, the "idiot" got OFF the snowmobile,
and started to crawl on hands and knees
towards the edge of the rim. If the snowmobile had went over with him, it probably would have crushed him. So my determination is, he took a free-fall, and landed in deep snow. After falling over the edge, I wonder if he
said YAAAAA Hooooooooooooooo !!! :)

That makes more sense all right. I had visions of him hollering "Ride 'em cowboy" as he rode that thing down.
