Iced Falls
These falls are one of may that you will encounter on the hike through Johnston Canyon. It is a well used canyon for hiking in the summer and winter months, but does offer some great ice climbing at the Johnston Falls ice, which is located 2.5 miles for the trailhead. There are an abundence of ice all along Johnston Creek but most likely is not often climbed do to open water at the base of most of the falls. Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park 2008.
