Halfway up the scree slope...
Halfway up the scree slope you can cut to the right and cut steps up the snowfields. This makes the going much easier, The weather has to cooperate, as in full sun the snow can be too mushy and will force you back to the loose scree. Taking turns at this will make life easier.
