Brought from Montana [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Brought from Montana
and deposited by an ice berg on the banks of the Columbia River, sits this
lonely granite block. The Columbia River is seen in the background and
Twin Sisters are on the other side of the river. More about the Twin Sisters at a later time. May 2007

Thank you Radek, it was "fascinating" to me when I discovered this Ice Age Flood stuff. It is neat to walk up to this plateau and find a large solitary granite boulder just sitting there all by itself. Hard to believe that the water level could have been higher than where you are standing in order for this boulder to have been dropped there. Mind boggling.
