Hasn't voted | I was born in a town just 25 kilometres away... I used to see Tatras every day. But now I'm studying and working in Prague, 600 kilometres away... Hasn't voted | Slovak economy is still in boom, last year was 10% increment in GDP. Real estate market in Slovakia is not in the best condition, (rental is not market like, but there's price cap). There's quite good access for mortgage, but mortgage market is still in stable position, unlike that in the US. 3-room flat costs about a million slovak crowns (50 000 USD) in Poprad. For 200 000 USD you can buy a small house there. However, if you like, there are some official campsites on the way to Tatras, for example Eurocamp near Tatranska Lomnica. Cheers To Arizna. Hasn't voted | OK, now I see. Storks are season birds, that spend winter in north Africa and summer in middle European countries. They move in huge groups. These you might have seen, but only in spring or fall. They live in pairs, but not huge groups in summer. If you were here in summer or winter, you must have confused those birds with ravens.
