Curtis and I reached Apple and Pear via the class 1 Elk Mountain Trail, followed by some scrambling off-trail, in about one hour. Located in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, OK, Apple and Pear are some pretty good-size boulders (check this image to see how big they really are!). Imaged in March 2008.
