The steel cable on my binding broke on my third turn down Mt. Marcy, and lacking the necessary equipment to repair it I made what I like to think of as the first ever descent of Mt. Marcy on a single tele ski.
12km back to the car in this fashion! It was actually really good fun once I got accustomed to it.
