The blue route is more-or-less the way to reach the top of the first set of cliffs; this is the hike described by Bo and Tanya. The red route shows how one travels to reach the upper cliff viewpoint (the north leg of the red) and the true brushy top of the mesa (south leg). So many people have gone to the upper cliffs, that the trail to the lower cliffs is now the less obvious.
