Friday's Jinx route on the...
Friday's Jinx route on the riverside face of The Fourth Horseman. Two pitches indicated with different colors. Pitch one (5.7) ends atop a much-more-comfy-than-it-looks little balcony complete with a natural belay seat. Pitch two (also 5.7) goes up a beautiful dihedral and is the reason to do this route (January 18, 2004).

As fun as that looks Radek, I can't understand why you'd want to be outside at Smith under a clear blue sky rather than downing some (yummy) brews in soggy Portland.... :)

Hey Dirk,

Good to hear from you.

Yeah, the ultimate ecstasy would be downing brews WHILE under a clear blue sky at Smith ;)

Maybe you can make it out to Smith sometime this Spring - if so, let us know......it IS a shorter drive for you than Portland...well, by maybe about 100 miles.
