Hasn't voted | For the climbers, trekkers, tourists and nature lovers, the trek along the Baltoro Glacier culminates in a camp in the 15,180 foot-high Concordia, a meeting place of gigantic glaciers that may well deserve the dubious soubriquent 'Crossroads of the World'. Baltoro, its surface riven with crevasses and pitted with corrugations that from afar look like the rutted tracks made by some monstrous vehicle, has many tributary glaciers. At Concordia three component glaciers meet, forming the proscenium for the most spectacular natural theatre in the world. Within a radius of 25kms, stand ten of the world's thirty highest peaks. Thanks for your kind words to my photos.
