One of the things I particularly like about hiking in snow is the tracks you leave behind you. They are fleeting in that they can melt away as the snow melts or disappear under the next snowfall but they are one of those magic
aspects of hiking in the stuff. I have labeled Baldy Pass off in the distance and the Everest Ridge has its beginnings near that area.
