Pitch 11 of Mescalito,El Cap....
Pitch 11 of Mescalito,El Cap. This pitch starts by traversing right on hooks to reach the corner, Then to lessen rope drag I backcleaned as far as I dared. Higher on the pitch as I topstepped and stretched to place the next piece the tiny HB offset I was on popped sendimg me on an airy 25 footer. That was exciting. (photo K.Solem)
