The spectacular face of Cable Mountain greets the eyes as one exits one of the narrower trail sections of Echo Canyon. Cable Mountain has a trail reaching its summit from the east, but this, its western aspect, is far more impressive. The walls on it have some of the most beautiful rock I have ever seen. Whether it makes for good climbing or not I cannot say.
