Monti Cristo Directissimo [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Monti Cristo Directissimo
The Monti Cristo/Superior southfacing bowl is the main feature on the righthand skyline. The crux of its central couloir, the Directissimo, can be seen where there's a right leaning ramp that skirts above the cliffed out central couloir. This ramp is called the Monti Cristo Gully and is the common variation to the direct line.
This line down Monti Cristo's south face is huge, at around 38 degrees and 3,200ft, starting at its summit on exposed terrain.

The details of the crux can also be seen in the lower part of Marauders great photo.

The approach most commonly used for this, and other Monti Cristo lines, is Superior's east ridge, from poleline pass.
