Treasure Flower [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Treasure Flower
This flower belongs to the Asteraceae family, genus Gazania, that are native to Southern Africa but have been introduced and cultivated in many other parts of the world, including California. I am pretty positive this particular species is called Treasureflower (Gazania linearis). Seen in the Santa Monica Mountain in Southern California.

...it is called "Treasureflower", Gazania linearis. It certainly belongs to the genus Gazania within the Asteraceae family.

Happy New Year to you, too.

May all (or at least most of) your wishes get fulfilled.

Cheers, Guido
