Once you've reached the broad summit area near the end of Elk Mountain Trail, in Charon's Garden Wilderness, OK, the trail will split in generally easterly and westerly directions. The easterly direction, shown in this image, is the official trail, and leads to nice views of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, and nearby Mount Lincoln. Imaged in April 2008.
