Dietes Grandiflora

Seen in the Santa Monica Mountains in Southern California. It's most likely a dietes grandiflora. Many thanks to SP member Nartreb for identification. April 2008.

What kind of camera are you using? I
need to invest in a better camera with
the 10x zoom, so my flower shots don't

	Hasn't voted	Thanks. Unfortunately, I cannot identify the flower yet. For these kind of shots I use an older Sony DSC digital camera. It's older but it has a very good Carl Zeiss lens and a nice macro function for close-ups. Cheers, Guido

Same species as this one, though I have no idea which species that is. You might find it somewhere in here.
