It Looks So Short!

It looks so short, compared to my own image taken from the canyon rim! I wish we'd had time to spend within the canyon (other than White House ruins hike, which my son and I did). I really enjoyed your TR. Thanks! --mark d.

	Hasn't voted	Even if you were there, you would have to admire Spider Woman Rock from a distance. The Navajo Tribal Police would have something to say about you attempting to climb it... Apparently a few years ago some folks snuck into the canyon and tried to climb that rock and got stuck and had to be rescued (for a few years, old climbing rope could still be seen dangling from the rock). There are plenty of Navajo who believe those stranded climbers "got what they deserved". Happy climbing! Sarah
