I like this one. I was in Canyon de Chelly in the fall, so I didn't see a lot of flowers.

Lisa,

The flowers were ON FIRE this time of year in the canyon and on the rim. I'm glad I could share the spring colors with you. I'm sure the fall colors were amazing, too!

I gather it was a relatively wet spring, from your pictures, so I can imagine the wild flowers were nice. When we were there the cottonwood laves had turned yellow and the only blooms I remember seeing were a few cactus blooms. However, the prickly pears had fruit on them!

I'm not a very true desert rat, because
I've never been to Canyon de Chelly.
I'm a native of western WA state. How
I ended up down here in the desert, your
guess is probably much better than mine!
