Gorilla Face [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Gorilla Face
This is the South Peak on Mt. Kinabalu. Look close and you can see the face of a gorilla in the rock on the right side. You can also see the stream of climbers coming up the rope that runs from the summit to the Sayat Check Point Hut. The rope is very helpful on a night with no moon. It's hard to navigate across these huge featureless granite field in the dark. The rock also gets very slippery when when and it rains a lot up here.
