| Utah Prominence Peak Map | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Currently I am chasing the Utah prominence peaks. I know many will think lists are not the way to go but for me it keeps me motivated. Since I moved to Utah, I've done been working on them and by doing so I am getting to visit places I would never normally go. Here's the map as of mid October 2009. The gray area ones are probably going to take awhile (or never).
One is on a military base that won't allow access. The white areas are areas that that I am sure to get done in the next year or so.

Voted 10/10 | What ever happened to Stansbury Is. and
Dugway? You aren't afraid of a few stray
missiles buzzing past your head at Dugway,
are you? There's a lot of mountain bikers
always goin' to Stansbury Is. - seems like
that would be on your list. You must have
a very long & impressive list, Dean!!!
P.S. - Did rfbolton ever return from his
vacation? He hasn't posted any pics
since Feb. 19th! Take care, Dean!! | | Posted May 13, 2008 12:14 pm |

Hasn't voted | I haven't seen any pics but eventually I'll get up there to see for myself. It is reported to have a rock pinnacle with class 5 requirements and rotten rock. The other Granite is in the Dugway proving ground and the military allows no access. | | Posted Aug 22, 2009 9:48 pm |
