The first views of Black Peak... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The first views of Black Peak...
The first views of Black Peak (other than from the highway on the drive to the trailhead) are had at Heather Pass (6,020+ ft). From the pass, the "trail" drops down and crosses talus and heather slopes to Lewis Lake (5,702 ft), which resides in the basin near the bottom of the photograph. Oct. 6, 1996.
