Voted 10/10 | Welcome to SP. I recently adopted the Maryland Heights page, and when I saw this shot, I added it to the page and made it the primary image. I'm going to develop a section on the routes there, so if you have any more shots, especially of the pitches, please add them. Do you happen to remember which route this was? Is it D Route (5.4) or Hard Up (5.8)? I'm guessing it wasn't the 5.10 if this was your first outdoor multi-pitch climb, but if it was, please tell! | | Posted May 27, 2008 10:43 pm |

Hasn't voted | Nice, yes I love this photo and was planning to submit it to your page but hadn't gotten around to it. It is the 5.8 Hard up route and unfortunately that is all I have I believe but I will double check. I didn't realize I'd be doing a multi pitch climb and being new to climbing I wondered well now where am I going to put my camera? So, I would have taken more pictures I was just a little flustered being new to it and all :) I am sure we will be going back at some point. The guy who was one of the guys that led the climb is Dennyg and he has a couple of pictures on his profile at summit post. But, I think they are pretty similiar. Anyway, thanks for the welcome! I was just going to rock climbing.com but I heard this place was pretty cool too. | | Posted May 31, 2008 10:23 pm |
