A close up of Black Peak from...
A close up of Black Peak from the ESE on Oct. 6, 1996. The NE Ridge starts from the saddle at skyline right. The best descent for this route is via the South Ridge Route, which comes down to the saddle at left. A non-essential gear stash (like camping gear) at Wing Lake is a good choice.
