Wildcat A [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Wildcat A
Paul hiking the Appalachian Trail on the way to the summit of Wildcat A. What you cant see is the 40 foot drop just below him past the rock patch. Crampons & axe a neccesity. This was in a pretty good snowstorm and after starting around 3pm we summited well into the dark hours. What a blast!

If you could dig through the snow you'd see that somebody actually carved a narrow ledge into the rock, so the footing isn't *quite* as bad as it looks.

Well, we thought it was just a sloped rock at the time! Even with the ledge, the exposure is pretty good!
