This is a very unique vantage...
This is a very unique vantage point of Capitol Peak. This was taken from the Pierre Lake Basin in July. I have never seen any other pictures of Capitol form these lakes. Most likely because getting to these lakes is not easy. People that climb Capitol from this approach are few and far between. This basin is the most amazing place I have ever been. This 3-day and 4,500 vertical ft. backpack trip will leave you with wonderful memories. If anyone is interested in directions to these lakes E-mail me.
